He was predeceased by two daughters, Heather and Tracy. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard and Helen (McKay) Bessette and lived in Webster and Southbridge most of his life. He owned and operated Smiley's Taxi Service in Southbridge. Calling hours will be held in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, with a prayer service at 5:30 pm.
