Eleanor Bassett Muse Bride of Dr. N.J. Harris At Home
After Breakfast Party Couple Go To Mexico City
A wedding of interest was that of Miss Eleanor Bassett Muse, daughter of Mrs. Percival Charles Lockett and the late Judge Cavin Muse and Dr. Naon Joseph Harris, son of Mrs. Joseph Hamilton Harris and the late Mr. Harris, which took place Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Lockett home, 5415 Gaston.
The Reverend L. Valentine Lee officiated before an altar banked with arrangements of greenery, which were in contrast to crystal vases filled with white chrysanthemums and wrought-iron candelabra holding white tapers, also placed at the altar.
The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a smart bronzene green wool costume suit, whose close-fitting jacket was trimmed with woolen braid. Her accessories were in amethyst, as were her jewels, and she carried a prayer book on which was attached an orchid spray.
