Pauline Ball Dulin
NORTHAMPTON - Pauline “Polly” (Bernache) Ball Dulin, 80, of 52 Fruit St., died Monday at the Calvin Coolidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Northampton on March 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Delmar and Vyra (Bassett) Bernache. She was educated in Northampton schools and was a graduate of Northampton High School. She was a secretary at New England Telephone & Telegraph, the University of Massachusetts, Kollmorgen and, most recently, Paysaver, where she retired in 1990. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Northampton. She loved to knit and was an avid sports fan. She was the wife of the late Donald Dulin.
She is survived by her two sons, Alan R. Ball of Northfield and Loren V. Ball of Florence; two stepchildren, Donald Dulin of New Jersey and Missy Taylor of Southampton; two grandsons, Scott and Cody Ball; and two stepgrandchildren, Chad and Bonnie St. Martin.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Ball, and her sister, Anne Delprette.
Her funeral Mass will be Friday morning at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 101 King St., Northampton.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
