"Kiddo" Bessette, 82, of North Belmont Street, a loom fixer for 38 years for the former Sagamore Manufacturing Co. before retiring 18 years ago, died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Helen (Holewiak) Bessette. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Peter and Roseanna (Bellavance) Bessette. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Besides his wife he leaves a son, Norman F. Bessette of Somerset; a sister, Fedora De Coste of Fall River, and two grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., with a funeral Mass at 9 at St. Joseph's Church, North Main Street. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
