Tommye O?Neal Bass
Tommye O'Neal Bass, 69, of McComb, passed away Jan. 8, 2018, at her residence.
Visitation is 9 a.m. Wednesday at Hartman- Jones Funeral Home of McComb (Hartman chapel) until services there at 11, with Dr. David Millican officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
Mrs. Bass was born March 25, 1948, in McComb, to Thomas H. and Jimmie Sandall O'Neal.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church, and was a devout Christian lady. She retired from First Bank in McComb after 30 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to many.
Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and her husband, Bennett Woodrow Bass, Jr.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Neal Bass and Eva of McComb; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin Spring and Warren of McComb; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard O'Neal and Kathy of Asheville, N.C.; four grandchildren, Branden Edwards, Collin Spring, Camryn Spring and Emma Bass; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jim Causey, M.L. Fortenberry, Russell Spring, Jed Slonaker and her grandsons, Branden Edwards and Collin Spring.
