  Notes	State Columbia, South Carolina Wednesday, September 9, 1987 Cornelius G. Bass Sr., 69, Santee Oil Co. executive Kingstree - Cornelius Graham Bass Sr., 69, died Saturday. Born in Latta, he was a son of the late Henry Howard and Mrs. Sallie Carmichael Bass. He was vice-president, manager and secretary of Santee Oil Co. He was a graduate of Latta High School and the University of South Carolina, with a business degree. He was a member of Kingstree United Methodist Church and Kingstree Country Club. He served on the board of directors of the Gamecock Club and the National Board of Oil Jobbers. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ann B. Crowder III of Savannah; sisters, Mrs. Lula B. Manning and Mrs. John W. Gardner of Latta; grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bass Family cemetery near Latta. Memorials may be made to the USC Athletic Scholarship Fund. Williamsburg Funeral Home is in charge.
