Jack C. Bass, age 92, passed away on December 2, 2014. Jack is survived by his children, Jackie Anderson and her husband, Ken of Wentzville, Missouri, John Bass and his wife, Amy of Joplin, Missouri and Paul Bass and his wife, Terry of Lindale, Texas, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several other family and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Lou, his parents, John and Betty and his sisters, Betty Jane and Bernice. Jack served our country during World War II in the United States Army. After honorably discharging, he returned home and received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma University in Norman. Jack worked with McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft in St Louis, Missouri before retiring after 39 years. Jack and Nora moved to Albuquerque upon retirement and have lived here since. They were both very active in the community as volunteers at the Museum of Natural History for many years and attended Monte Vista Christian Church. Memorial services will be on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Boulevard NE. Following the service he will be interred in Elk City, Oklahoma with Nora.
