Frances Elizabeth Bassett
Frances Elizabeth Hall Bassett, 62 of Bedford, departed this life on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1960 to the late Deacon Samuel R. Hall and Mary Pullen Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings Deacon Melvin R. Hall and Viola Christine White.
Those left to cherish her memory are: her husband Henry Marshall; three children from her first marriage Natalie Denise Bassett of Bassett, VA, Maria Bryant and Bishop Nathaniel M. Bassett III (Shawna) of Richmond, VA; grandchildren Gemia R. Bryant, Zion Bryant, Malcolm, Malachi and Jayden Harrington, Siveyah Rose, Nicholai and Phoenix Bassett, Jacqui Wright Jr. "peanut" and Jamari Marshall "little brother"; stepchildren Franshelle and Tammara Marshall; five siblings Ruby L. Bassett, Edward E. Hall, Sr. (Barbara), Jeanette O. Hall-Merritt (John Allen), John O. Hall (Sylvia) and Doris D. Bishop (Arch Lioneil); a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, church family, neighbors and friends.
