Pierre Landry Basse on Thursday, May 15, 1997. Beloved husband of the late Lydia ZC. Basse. Father of Melva B. Frickey and the late Gerard Basse. Son of the late Cecile and Marceline Basse. Brother of Esther Despaux and the late Jane Coulon, Joyn Basse, Marcell Basse, Lucien Bass, Wilson Basse, Albertha Pizana and Luca Tregre. Grandfather of Ilene Fernandez, Mavis Basse, Elton Frickey Jr., Mary Norman and Janice Gaskill. Great-grandfather of Rodney Fernandez, Christy Defrene, Stacy Frickey, Andrea Fernandez, Dawn Frickey, Elton Frickey III, Kelly Norman and the late Terrn Norman. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Aged 96 years. A native and lifelong resident of Barataria, LA. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from the St. Anthony Home, Glorida Dr., on Monday, May 19, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in St. Pius X Cemetery. Visitation from 7:00 p.m. til 11:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 7:00 a.m. on Monday. Leitz-Eagn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
