Paris Green And Gin
Fatal Dose Taken By a New Britain Man This Morning
New Britain, March 27.-John Bass died early this morning from the effects of poisoning. He swallowed a mixture of paris green and gin and died soon after. The cause is unknown.
Bass died in the police station. Medical Examiner Comings said that the primary cause of death was alcoholism and the secondary cause poison. Bass was an Englishman, 45 years of age. He had been drinking heavily.

John Bass
John Bass, aged 45, died in the police station at new Britain, last Friday from the effects of a dose of rough-on-rats. Baas was out of work and had been drinking hard of late. He leaves a wife and four children.
