Bass, 80 years old, who died at Mercy Hospital as the result of injuries received by being struck by a street car at Baltimore and Exeter streets on November 6, was buried from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cecila Meyers, 130 Aisquith street, last Monday. Mr. Bass was a founder of the congregation Beth Hamedreth Hogodd and was actively interested in various Jewish charitable organizations in the city. He leaves five sons, Moses, Simon, Benjamin, Charles and Harry Bass, and two daughters, Mrs. Meyers and Mrs. Gertrude Cohen.
