Percy H. Bass
Died December 25, 1981, Deacon Percy H. Bass of 1906 Powhatan Street. He is survivied by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Bass; one daughter Mrs. Hazel Berry; one son, William Bass; four step-sons, Joseph and John Taylor, Robert and James Kenny; ten grandchildren; three daughters-in-law; one son-in-law; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the O.F. Howard Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral Wednesday, 1 p.m. from the Cedar Street Memorial Baptist Church of God, 23rd and N Streets, where remains will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until hour of funeral. Dr. Benjamin W. Robertson, pastor, officiating. Interment Greenwood Memorial Garden. Family and friends will assemble at the church 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. Deacons, Deaconess and Missionaries to be uniform at the church.
