He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eloise G. Bassett; a daughter, Tanya; two sons, Ronald and Darrin; three sisters, Miss Bettie Bassett of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Louise Ingram and Mrs. Irene Thomas, both of Jersey City, N.J.; two brothers, Burrell of Charles City and Roy Bassett of Yorktown; a daughter-in-law, Ginger Bassett; two uncles; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Upon arrival, remains will rest at the J. Leroy Charity Funeral Home, Charles City. After 10:30 A.M. Saturday will rest at Parish Hill Baptist Church where services will be held 1 P.M. Rev. H.R. Plummer officiating. Interment in church cemetery.
