Bassett-Campbell
Yesterday evening were united in matrimony Mr. Arthur J. Bassett and Miss Theo. C. Campbell, at the residence of the bride?s mother, No. 49 South Carpenter street. The ceremony took place in the presence of a large number of friends, under the direction of the Rev. Galusha Anderson. The bridesmaids were Misses Annie Gordon, of Milwaukee, and Lillie Bassett, of Taunton, Mass., while the groomsmen were Messrs. J.G. Shedd and Alfred E. Cooke. The bride wore a pearl-white brocade, cut Princesses, en traine, and trimmed with orange blossoms.
The presents to the bride consisted of a silver tea set, from Marshall, Felix & Blair, and employes of that firm; a silver butter-knife and fruit spoon, from Mrs. and Mrs. J.B. Wellington; white satin fan, from Mr. J.G. Shedd; set of silver nut-picks, from Mr. A.F. Brown; silver card-receiver, from L.F. Braunholt; Family Bible, from Mrs. O.L. Bassett; breakfast-caster, from Mrs. H.M. Whitten; large photograph-album, from Mr. H.B. Chapman; card-receiver, from Miss Lillie J. Bassett; pickle-dis, from Mr. Charles Graves; pair of Bohemian vases, from Miss Ella Edwards; silver cake-basket, from Mrs. Mary Price; fruit-knife, from Mr. H.H. Queal; bronze card-receiver, from Mr. L.G. Grosvenor; bouquet-holder, from Miss Josie A Campbell; pickle-dish, from Mrs. Libbie A. Webster; toilet set, from Mr. and Mrs. H.C.
