Mrs. Helen Freeman Dies in Tennessee

ELYRIA ? Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Helen Bassett Freeman, 84, native of Lorain-co, who died yesterday at her home in Chattanooga, Tenn., after an illness of several years.
Mrs. Freeman was born in Russia-twp, the daughter of Charles and Emma Bassetgt, pioneer residents there. She was the sister of the late Miles Standish Bassett and Harvey Bassett, Elyria, and was the last survivors of five children in the Bassett family.
Mrs. Freeman spent her girlhood in Russia-twp moving from Lorain-co following her marriage to the late Dr. F.C. Freeman, Chattanooga.
Surviving are two nieces here, Misses Cora and Marion Bassett, 315 Park-av; and three children, Howard, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Oliver employe of the Bureau of Standards, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Gladys Carlson, Chicago, Ill.
