She was born in Newburyport, May 16, 1837, and had resided in Newton for more than 50 years. She was one of the oldest members of Eliot Church and a woman of a very generous nature and with a great variety of interests. Her funeral service was held at her late home Saturday afternoon, Rev. Ray A. Eusden officiating. Burial was in Newton Cemetery.
