- Mrs. Henry Bassett, obituary

Mrs. Henry Bassett died at her home in this village Monday evening, after an
illness of several months, though she was confined to her bed only a few days.
She was born in Lenawee county, Michigan, Feb. 24, 1843, and married Henry
Bassett in 1871. They came here 10 years ago, and Mr. Bassett passed away only
a few months ago. Mrs. Bassett leaves 2 sisters and 1 brother to mourn her
death.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, Fev. F.M. McClintic officiating.
(Rev. McClintic is from Fenton.) Interment is in Salt River cemeter
Her sister, Mrs. Booth cared for her during her last illness.
