Word has been received by Mrs. C.L. Washburn of the death of Mrs. O.P.
Bassett of Pasadena, Cal., in the Huntington Memorial hospital, May 19, 1937.
Mrs. Bassett was the widow of O.P. Bassett, formerly of Hinsdale, who
passed away in Pasadena, Cal. February 26, 1921. After the death of Mr.
Bassett, Mrs. Bassett sold the family residence and spent summers in San
Francisco and winters at the Vista Del Arroyo Hotel, Pasaden
Mrs. Bassett is survived by a nephew, P.D. M. Lord of Los Angeles.
Funeral services were held May 20th from Turner and Stevens Funeral Chapel,
Pasadena.

Bassett - Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. today, May 20, 1937 at
the chapel of Turner & Stevens Company for Mrs. Imogene G. Bassett, widow of
Orland P. Bassett. Mrs. Bassett had been a resident of Pasadena 26 years
having lived most of the time at the Maryland Hotel and the Hotel Vista del
Arroyo. She is survived by her nephew, P.D.M. Lord, Los Angeles. Funeral
services were conducted by Rev. John Frank Scott, followed by private
interment.
