WILL of John W. Bassett
In the name of God Amen:, I John W. Bassett of Fort Miller, N.Y. of
the age of Seventy Seven years being of sound mind and memory do make publish
and declare this my last will and testament in manner following vi
First: I will that all my past debts and funeral expenses shall be
paid out of my estate.
Second: I give devise and bequeath to Carrie Louise Cox, daughter of
John Cox, the sum of two hundred dollars to be paid out of my estat
Third: I give and bequeath to Laura Hatch wife of P.E. Hatch of Fort
Miller, N.Y. the sum of five hundred dollars to be paid out of my estate.
Fourth: I give and bequeath to Richard O. Bassett of Albany, N.Y. the
sum of one thousand dollars to be paid out of my estate.
Lastly: I hereby nominate and appoint John Wagman of Fort Miller, N.Y.
to be executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former
wills by me made.
