To Mary Joy Bassett of Lakeport in the State of New Hampshire, Anna
Rogers O'Donnell of Denver in the State of Colorado, Victor R. O'Donnell, Mary
R. O'Donnell, and William B. O'Donnell, minors, children of said Anna Rogers
O'Donnell, all of said Denver, Isabel Sears Bassett of Brookline in the County
of Norfolk, individually, and as trustee under the will of Elisha Basse
deceased, and Catherine Elizabeth Bassett, widow of Francis Bassett, deceased,
of London, England.
Whereas, Isabel Sears Bassett, surviving executrix of the wi
Elisha Bassett late of Newton in said County of Middlesex, deceased has
presented to said Court her petition, praying for instructions as to the
construction of said will, and as to the distribution of the residue of the
estate of said testator.
You are hereby cited to appear at a Probate Court, to be holden at
Cambridge, in said County of Middlesex, on the twenty-seventh day of November
A.D. 1916, at nine o'clock in the forenoon, to show cause, if any you have,
against the same.
And said petitioner is ordered to serve this citation by delivering a
copy thereof to each of you who may be found in said Commonwealth, fourteen
days, at least, before said Court, or if any of you shall not be so found,
either by delivering a copy thereof to you wherever found or by leaving a copy
thereof at your usual place of abode, or by mailing a copy thereof to you at
your last known post-office address, fourteen days, at least, before sa
Court; and also, unless it shall be made to appear to the Court by affidavit
that you all have had actual notice of the preceding, by publishing the same
once in each week, for three successive weeks, in the Newton Graphic a
newspaper published in said Newton the last publication to be seven days, at
least, before said Court.
