It is hereby certified that Elijah Town, Jr. died on this day purchaser of the county Auditor of Fulton County Indiana at Rochester at private sale Lot No. (6) Six or the N-1/2 S.W. qr. Section No. (16) Sixteen, Township No. Thirty one (31) North of Range No. three (3) East, containing by Estimation Eighty acres be the same more or lee ? at one dollar and thirty seven and a half cents per acre, amounting to one hundred and ten dollars ($110.00) of which there has been paid to the School commissioner of Fulton County agreeably to Law, as per receipt No. 51, the sum of Twenty seven dollars & fifty cents ($27.50) Also the sum of five dollars & seventy eight cents ($5.78) being 7 per cent interest in advance for one year, on the residue as per receipt No. 52 ? Now therefore be it known that if the remaining balance of successor in office at the Expiration of twenty five years from the date hereof with Seven per cent interest thereon payable annually in advance The same being sold agreeable to the provisions of Art. 13, Chap. 13, of the Revised Sattues of 1843 ?
