In 1884 Harrison County Landowners, we find Isaac Bassett, Little Sioux, 81-30-44, 40 acres, Isaac Bassett, Little Sioux, 81-25-45, 80 acres, House, Timbe Bassett, Little Sioux, 81-24-45, 2 acres. From "History of Harrison County, Iowa", National Publishing Company, (1891) we have "Linus Bassett came early in the '50s from New York. He settled on section 31-81-44. After seventeen years he sold to A.H. Gleason and now lives in Little Sioux village. His son, L.H.
