  Notes	The Rutland Daily Herald, Vermont, Monday, 29 June 1874 Obituary ? Bassett Mr. Arba Bassett, aged seventy-nine years, died at his residence in Pittsford June 3. He lived a quiet Christian life, and died triumphing in the faith of the Gospel of peace. He was a shoemaker by trade, and had accumulated a little home where he pleasantly passed his last days. He leaves a widow, who has left the home and come to Hitchcockville, that she may enjoy the privileges of the church of which she and her husband were members.
