  Notes	Boston Herald, Massachusetts, Friday, February 16, 1934 Mrs. Abbie K. Bassett HARWICHPORT, Feb. 15 ? Mrs. Abbie K. Bassett, 86, one of the oldest residents of Harwich and widow of George T. Bassett died at her home on Pleasant street here today after two months? illness. She was born in Harwich, daughter of Varnus and Rebecca Nickerson, and formerly conducted a millinery shop here. Her husband, one of the first representatives of the Chase and Sanborn Coffee Company, died here in 1917. Mrs. Bassett was a charter member of the Dorcas Society and a former officer of the Cape Cod Spiritualist Association. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Adelbert F. Doane, and a brother, Capt. Flavius Nickerson, both of Harwichport. Funeral services will be held at the home Saturday at 1:30 P.M. and burial will be in Harwichport cemetery.
