  Notes	After the death of Lovisa, John married (2) Miss or Mrs. Hatch. John was a great lover of dogs. One of these was his constant companion in his last years of life. At his death he was taken to the Pennoyer Cemetery where his wife Lovisa lay buried. After his death his dog kept silent watch on the grave for the entire summer until the snow fell.
