Nathan Bassett occupied lot eighty-two. He had a turning-lathe, and
manufactured chairs, and was also known far and near as a great hunter and
manager of bees. He was killed by lightning while at work in his barn in 1842.
Nancy, another daughter of Moses Hall, married David Ingersoll, and in 1820
they settled in Dover upon lot thirty-seven.......
