  Notes	Plattsburgh Sentinel, Friday 18 Nov 1904 West Chazy Mrs. Eunice Loomis Bassett, widow of Daniel Bassett, passed away at the home of her son, Cyrus Bassett, Oct. 28th after an illness of eleven days. She was the daughter of James Loomis. She was born in Champlain, N.Y. She was married in 1853 to Daniel Bassett of Altona, and resided there until her death. She was 74 years old. Her funeral was held in the Wesleyan Methodist church, Oct. 31st, interment in the Douglass cemetary. She leaves to mourn her departure, one son, Cyrus Bassett of Altona, three sisters, Mrs. J.S. Abara, Miss E. Loomis, of Chazy, and Mrs. Charles M. Bruce of Baldwinville, Mass., and one brother, Abner Loomis of Ingraham. There were many beautiful flowers.
