Bassett<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">K.E. Pike Funeral Home \u2013 Cedar Springs, 14 November 2024<br \/>\nGerald G. Bassett<\/p>\n<p>Gerald G. Bassett age 88 of Rockford passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 at his home. He was born March 6, 1936 in Cedar Springs, MI\u00a0the son of Alden and Irene (Morris) Bassett. He had owned and operated Bassett Body Shop since 1971. He enjoyed classic cars and car shows, mowing lawn and had a sweet tooth. He loved spending time with his family. Surviving are his children, Jason (Dawn) Bassett, Belinda (Dave) Clark; grandchildren, Aryah, Tanner, Austin and Brittany; great grandchildren, Hunter and MacKenzie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy in 2021; brother, Raymond; sister, Joanne. The family will greet friends Saturday, November 23 from 2 \u2013 4 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.
