Marc was born and raised in Bass River and graduated with a BFA from New England School of Art &amp; Design. An accomplished painter and woodcarver, Marc was very talented and well known throughout the New England area. He was a spiritual and adventurous man who loved the sea, commissioning artwork through his company Bassett Woodcarvings. He is survived by his daughters, Leah Sarah Bassett, and Rachael Cathlene Bassett; and their mother, Alice Lynch. He was the brother of Rosalind Hennessey, Gladys Jane Pendergraft, and the late Gail Carnovale. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. at South Yarmouth United Methodist Church. 322 Old Main St. South Yarmouth.
