Louis Basset was born in 1707. He died in 1755. He married Pierrett Rochet. She was born about 1700. She died in 1768.<\/p>\n
+ 476B1. Claude Francois Basset – born 1732, died 1774. He married (1) Marie Anne Reybard. He married (2) Rose Rougemonth.<\/p>\n
DNA results are back from a male Basset descendant of the Louis Basset family shown here. Descendants of this family moved to Canada. I have more data to enter on this family as we do more research.\u00a0 What is very interesting is that we show a low level match to both the #14B Jean Besset family from France that settled in Quebec in the 1600\u2019s, and the #53B Jean Jacques Louis Bassett family from France and later to Yorkshire, England, before settling in the United States. This means these three families shared a common ancestor back in France sometime before 1650!<\/p>\n
