We now have funds for several new DNA tests.<\/p>\n<p>I gave a Bassett DNA talk in Shelby County, Indiana this month and met several 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup> cousins that came to the presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Totals number of individuals loaded into the Bassett website:\u00a0\u00a0 144,072<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bassettbranches.org\/newsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/BassettPatch.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1091\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bassettbranches.org\/newsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/BassettPatch.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"755\" height=\"645\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bassettbranches.org\/newsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/BassettPatch.jpg 755w, https:\/\/www.bassettbranches.org\/newsblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/BassettPatch-300x256.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 755px) 100vw, 755px\" \/><\/a>Patch found for sale on ebay<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">No family lines combined or added since the last newsletter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">No new trees were added to the database this month.<\/p>\n<p>We have a Family Finder (autosomal) DNA match between the #8B John Bassett line and the #19B Michael Bassett line.
