The Church at Dives-sur-Mer,Normandy.
The Church at Dives-sur-Mer is where mass was said for William the Conqueror and his knights prior to setting sail to invade England in 1066. The Pope had sent his standard to accompany the invaders. Above the west door is a plaque listing the names of those present.
