  Notes	The Transcript, Thursday, July 24, 1975 Barbara Bassette Barbara (LaDame) Bassette, 52, of 15 Meadow St., Adams, died early today in North Adams Regional Hospital, where she was admitted Monday. Her husband, Alfred M. Bassette, was killed April 9, 1975 in Cockeysville, Md., when his tractor-trailer hit a bridge abutment. She was born in North Adams May 3, 1923, a daughter of the late Walter and Agnes (Douglas) LaDame. She was a graduate of Adams High School. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and the VFW auxiliary. She leaves three sons, Paul A. and David of Adams and William Bassette of Texas; two daughters, Betti Jean Bassette and Barbara Ellen Oleskiewicz of Adams; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
