Wanda L. (Keener) Bassett, 45, of Allegheny Township, formerly of Oakmont, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 in UPMC- Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born February 17, 1976 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Judy (Miller) Keener of East Vandergrift, and the late Aaron Keener. Wanda attended Riverview High School, and was a proud homemaker. She enjoyed watching television, and spending time with her cats, the beloved Tabby, and her cat who passed away, Flully. In addition to her father; Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashely Marie Houseal; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Miller; and paternal grandfather, Lawrence Keener. Besides her mother, Wanda is survived by her husband of 9 years, Scott K. Bassett; son, Zachary T. Cromlish of East Vandergrift; sister, Tracy L. (Frank) Zallo of Fombell, PA; brother, Aaron E. Keener, Jr. of Cheswick; nephews, Franco & Kevin; nieces, Kristina & Kelsi; and many uncles & cousins. Friends will be received in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until the Celebration Of Life Tribute Service at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
