Mrs. Frank Bassett
EASTHAMPTON - Mrs. Stella (Godek) Bassett of 6 Wright Street, died in Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton, Saturday. Born in Poland, she came to this country 50 years ago and settled in Amherst. She had been a resident here for 20 years. Besides her husband, Frank, she leaves two sons, Edward, with the Police Department, and Chester, also of this town, and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at Czelusniak funeral home, with a high mass of requiem at 9 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home are today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
