Rev. W. H. Bassett
Rev. W.B. Bassett, 70, died at the home of his brother-in-law, J. H. Duffell, at Walden, yesterday morning at 11:25 o’clock.
Mr. Bassett was a pioneer resident of Houston county, and was a Baptist minister thirty years. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. J.O. McKinley, of Unadilla, and one brother-in-law, with whom he resided, J. H. Duffell, of Walden. Rev. Mr. Bassett was ill two weeks.
Funeral services will be held from Harris church at Centerville at 2 o’clock central time this (Saturday) afternoon, Rev. J.P. Cargile officiating. Interment will be in Garvin cemetery.

Death of Mrs. W. B. Bassett
DUNBAR, Feb. 14 – Last night Mrs. Pinky Duffel Bassett, wife of Rev. W. B. Bassett, died at her home at Dunbar of appendicitis. Mrs. Bassett was born in Fayette county November 11, 1852. She was a member of the Centerville Baptist church. The funeral was held this afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Garvin cemetery, Rev. J.W. Tittle of Macon conducting the services.
