Mrs. Emma Bessette Died Here Sunday
Mrs. Emma Bessette passed away at the Physicians hospital early Sunday morning following a long illness. Her age was 72.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Howard Campbell and Mrs. George Stiles, both of Albany, N.Y., and two sons, Oscar Bessette, Albany, Raymond of Poughkeepsie; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Hayes of Beekmantown, Mrs. Julia Florentine and Mrs. Lillian Brockney, Plattsburgh, and one brother, Benjamin Desotel, city.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter’s church at nine o’clock Tuesday morning. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Peter’s cemetery.
Mrs. Bessette was a member of the Rotary Society, Conseil Ste. Cecile, and of the Auxiliary of St. Jean Baptiste. The remains are at Brown’s funeral parlors
