Virginia Basset (Picture included)
Gates: Friday, August 1, 2014, at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, Alexander Basset. She is survived by her children, Johanna Basset, Thomas (Annette) Basset; grandchildren, Dawn (Phil) Viruso, Kim (Scott) Marianetti-Smith, Tina (David) Battista, Tammy (Joe) Bronco, Maria (R.J.) LeClair, Alex (Renee) Basset; 15 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ed Cole; many nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Angelina and Angelo Salvaggio, Marie and Domonic Ruscio, Lena and Angelo Marinelli, Lillian and Andy Foggetti; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Dorothy Cellura, Joe and Dorothy Cellura; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pat and Eleanor Bassett, Mary Cole.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 2-6PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday morning, August 4, friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:30 in Holy Ghost Church. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Holy Ghost Church, 220 Coldwater Rd., Rochester, NY 14624 in her memory.
