John served in Co. G., 46th Alabama Infantry and enlisted at Wesobulgia on 3 May 1862. He was wounded 5 Jun 1863 and died less than a month later in Vicksburg.
Arnett later moved to Arkansas with her two brothers. She married (2) Bee Zachery.
