She was born in Screven County on July 30, 1949. She was a graduate of Screven County High School in 1967. She was employed by Derst Baking Company for 10 years and then worked for the City of Savannah for 20years. She was a member of the Collins First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Larry W. Sheley, Sr.; a daughter, Jennifer Kristin Sheley; step children, Larry W. Sheley, Jr., (Nikki), Ester Lee Wells, (Tab), Richard Allen Sheley; six sisters, Joann Owens (Tillman), Barbara Bassett, Dorothy Pierce, (Bill), Helen Waters, Hilda Quick, Joyce Moore (Jake), several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home with Rev.
