Derek Farr officiating. The infant was stillborn at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center on Thursday, Oct. 26. Survivors include his parents, Chan and Crystal Almond Bassett of Wadley; and grandparents, Beebe and Kip Chappell of Oxford, Malcolm and Beth Bassett of Wadley, and Richard and Ramona Almond of Roanoke; his paternal great-grandparents Jimmie Lou Whatley, the late Bobby Joe Giddy, Barbara Ruth Bassett and the late James Samuel Bassett; and his maternal great-grandparents Dellie Nobley and the late Elmer Nobley, Grady Jack and Bertha Almond.
