  Notes	The Randolph Leader January 22, 2003 Annie Elizabeth Still Bassett (CULLMAN) - Services for Annie Elizabeth Still Bassett, 86, of Cullman, formerly of Roanoke, were Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Coley M. Holloway and Tim Craft officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining church cemetery. Mrs. Bassett died Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Hanceville Nursing Home in Hanceville. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Bassett was born Aug. 20, 1916, daughter of Jesse Byron and Lily Williams Still. She was a homemaker and a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church in Dothan. She was preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Guy Bassett. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Holloway of Dotham and Patricia Barch of Cullman; one son, Melvin Donald Bassett; two sisters, Mary Pike of Roanoke and Elsie Beard of LaGrange, Ga.; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Memorials may be floral or the family requests dontations to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke.
