  Notes	June 16, 1998, Times-Herald Mrs. Sara S. Bassett Mrs. Sara Smallwood Bassett, 85, of Hogansville, died Sunday, June 14, 1998 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. Mrs. Bassett was born June 9, 1913 in Randolph County, Alabama, daughter of the late Andrew Thomas Smallwood and the late Bernice Bishop Smallwood. She lived at Hogansville most of her life, was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, and was the wife of the late Ace Bassett. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jun 17 at St. James United Methodist Church in Hogansville. The Rev. David Pickard will officiate, and burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
