The Screven County native was retired from Sardis Manufacturing where she was seamstress. She was also of Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by: Husband: Will Crawford Jenkins and Son: Kevin Jenkins. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law: Luther “L.H.” and Mary Lou Jenkins of Martinez, Jimmy C. and Karen Jenkins of Sardis and Jimmy C. Jr. and Katy Jenkinds of Sylvania; sister: Reba L. Bassett of Sylvania; sister-in-law: Ollie Bell Bassett of Millen; grandchildren: Valarie Fisher of Sardis and Doyle Jenkins of Atlanta; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Friday, February 22, 2008 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services: Saturday, February 23, 2008, at 1:00 PM, at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with the Rev.
