Felts Mill Couple Wedded 62 Years
Mr. and Mrs. Moses Bassett Observe Anniversary
Both Still Hale And Hearty
Felts Mills, Aug. 9 – Mr. and Mrs. Moses Bassett quietly observed their sixty-second wedding anniversary Monday. Mrs. Bassett is able to do light housework and can read without the use of glasses. Mr. Bassett works regularly in his garden and shop and many days takes long walks. Both are well at present.

Mrs. Mary I. Bassett, 84, Passes Away at Felts Mills
Had Been Resident of that Village for 35 Years
Carthage, Aug. 8 – Mrs. Mary I. Bassett, wife of Moses Bassett, died at her home in Felts Mills Saturday night, aged 84 years, six months and 25 days. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 from the residence. Rev. A. Trickett will officiate. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery, Carthage.
besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Frank of Florida, Fred of Syracuse and Edward of Felts Mills, two daughters, Mrs. Cora McAndrews and Mrs. Mabel Deny, both of Felts Mills.
She was born in the town of Denmark, the daughter of Josiah and Dolly Wood. Had she lived until yesterday it would have been her 67th wedding anniversary. She had lived in Felts Mills about 35 years.
