Vivian Joyce Hubert Crump
Vivian Joyce Hubert Crump, 76, died suddenly at her home in Colorado Springs, CO on August 20, 2013. Vivian was born December 30, 1936 in Concordia, KS to Leo and Virginia (Bessette) Hubert. She graduated from Concordia Catholic High School as Valedictorian of her class in 1954. She married Morris Ray Crump in 1956 in Concordia. They had five children. She was employed with Fairmont, Sears and Bogarts for 25 years. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1980. She was employed with Bryan and Scott Jewelers for 33 years. She was a devout member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She had a loving, caring, selfless personality, always concerned for family and friend's welfare. She loved all the "grand" dogs and always had treats for them when they came to visit her. She enjoyed music, flowers, puzzles, and watching the squirrels in her backyard. She is survived by her sons Raymond (Jennifer) of West Palm Beach, FL, Kenny (Chris) of Concordia, KS, Steve (Cheryl) of Colorado Springs, CO, Danny (Kim) of Fountain, CO, and a daughter Vicki Henderson (Marion) of Cheyenne Wells, CO, 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a brother Leo Hubert (Susie) and a sister-in-law Bonnie Buss (Crump) all of Concordia. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Paul, and sister Dorothy. Visitation and services are being held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1830 S. Corona Ave., Colorado Springs. The visitation begins at 5pm with the Rosary at 6pm on Thursday, August 22. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am on Friday, August 23 with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
