  Notes	The River News and Twin State News, Woodsville, New Hampshire Thursday, 7 August 1952 Mrs. Guy Smith Funeral services for Mrs. Guy Smith (nee Florence Bassett) were held in Brockton, Mass., Monday and burial was in the Catholic cemetery there. Florence Bassett was born in Woodsville 51 years ago, daughter of Clifford and Meda (Summers) Bassett. She attended the Woodsville schools and graduated from Woodsville High school. Miss Bassett was married Guy Smith and to them were born two daughters and a son. For the past 26 years they had made their home in Brockton where she was active in the Catholic Women?s club. Mrs. Smith died suddenly following surgical treatment. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph McCann and Mrs. Robert Sheridan; son, Edward Smith; father, Clifford Bassett, and sister, Mrs. Theodore Paradis, both of Woodville, nieces and nephews.
