  Notes	The Bridgeport Post, Connecticut, Thursday, June 03, 1977 David O. Bassett Services for David O. Bassett, 55, of 2150 Seaview avenue; a security guard with Sikorsky Aircraft division, who died Tuesday in his home, will take place Friday at 10 .m. in the Redgate Hennessy funeral home, 2937 Main street, with the Rev. Randy Day, associate pastor of the Golden Hill United Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Stratford. Mr. Bassett, a resident of Bridgeport for many years, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eleanor Bahner Bassett; two sons, John E. Bassett, of Colorado and David C. Bassett of Derby; a daughter, Miss Eleanor M. Bassett of Colorado; two brothers, Richard Bassett and Robert Bassett both of Bridgeport; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Galanek and Miss Florence Bassett, both of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.
