  Notes	Lockhart Post Register Zeta “Sammy” Bassett April 10, 2009 Zeta Eleanor “Sammy” Bassett, born May 23, 1930, died peacefully on April 3, 2009. Affectionately known as “Sammy”, Ms. Bassett is survived by her adoptive family, namely Pat Willms, and Jim and Patsy Gillis and their family. Sammy’s lifetime career was an accountant. Since moving to Lockhart in 2001, Sammy made many friends, a lot of them she met as a seamstress and the coffee crowd at local cafes. No funeral is planned but a memorial “Celebration of Life” will be scheduled in the near future. Arrangements under the care and direction of McCurdy Funeral Home, Lockhart, Texas.
