Accounting Sought By Mrs. Coleman
Mrs. Edith S. Coleman, as an individual and as trustee for the children of the late Mrs. Bessie Wood Bass, yesterday filed suit for any accounting in superior court against Charles T. Bass, Jr., and Mrs. Mattie Lee Bass Slaughter, William Coleman Bass, Ruby Frances Bass and Jack Grady Bass.
According to the petition, the late Mrs. Bass purchased real estate in Fairview from Mrs. Coleman, and the latter was placed in control of the property as trustee. It is alleged that receipts have been insufficient to pay for it, or even pay taxes and upkeep, and the request is made that the property be sold under the court’s supervision and the proceeds applied on a debt of $1,800.
Mrs. Coleman is represented by Jones, Johnston, Russell and Sparks.
